The 300 hour EMT Certification Program includes classroom instruction, hospital rotations with an emphasis on emergency department experience, and emergency ambulance experience. You'll receive instruction in basic life support, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillation, physical assessment, bandaging and splinting, traction splinting, spinal immobilization, airway management, oxygen therapy, and other noninvasive procedures. Upon completion of this program, all students will be eligible to take examinations for certification as:
- Florida State EMT
- Nationally Registered EMT
